Anyway, we went to a deserted beautiful beach that we found near Vaucluse, a few minutes from our house.
The beach is oriented to the west what means protected from the predominant wind. Furthermore the water is extremely clear and the views directly to the Harbour Bridge and, Opera House and CBD!
