Holdsworth Community Centre

For those who have babies and live in the Eastern suburbs, you will love the Holdsworth centre! It took me almost a year to go there, as I thought it was a small room with a tiny playground. Well, I couldn't be more wrong! It is just like a school but instead of teachers you have mums as carers.

So... let me better explain how it works:
Where is it  - woollahra, very close to Queen St.
What age    - The centre works for babies and toddlers.
How much  - $6 and you can spend the whole day inside the school.
About it    - We are part of your community and our aim is to enhance the quality of life of individuals, families and the community through the provision of quality services.
What to do - There is a room for babies that has lots of toys for bubs to play with. For older kids there is a huge playground with toys, cars, swings, climbing foam, a painting area
Services     - There is a room for babies where a midwife comes 3 times per week to sing nursery rhymes. There is also classes that teach you how to feed, music, dancing, sleeping and settling tricks, how to introduce swimming to babies etc
Essecially it is very good to meet new mums or just to meet other people with kids in the area, specially if t is rainning and we cant go to the playgrounds in rushcutters bay, rose bay, double bay or bondi beach, cause they're all outdoors.
Today we spent the whole morning there, and they even made me a footprint present from D as a Mothers Day gift.

Will be back soon for sure!
